Thomas Hand was told by leaders at Kibbutz Be'eri, that Emily, his 8yr old daughter, was dead. Due to the scope (over 1000 ppl murdered) and brutality, it took until Oct 31 to verify that she was in fact not among the remains and likely kidnapped.
