Original Note:
The plastic ban is scientific and it is reasonable. Single use plastic gets thrown out right away and contributes to the massive plastic pollution that is killing wildlife and becoming microplastics that are now in all living things and endangering health. https://www.nationalgeographic.com/environment/article/microplastics-are-in-our-bodies-how-much-do-they-harm-us#:~:text=Plastics%20in%20humans&text=In%20laboratory%20tests%2C%20microplastics%20have,microplastics%20and%20impacts%20on%20health. https://education.nationalgeographic.org/resource/microplastics/ https://www.unep.org/news-and-stories/story/plastic-planet-how-tiny-plastic-particles-are-polluting-our-soil https://www.nrdc.org/stories/single-use-plastics-101
