Original Note:
Ocean heat proxies contradict the warming “wasn’t global” hypothesis. It is not likely the oceans were warmer but earth wasn’t. And if warm periods weren’t global, that means regional variability is so high the global average temperature not particularly relevant. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0277379116304802 https://www.researchgate.net/publication/258215955_Pacific_Ocean_Heat_Content_During_the_Past_10000_Years https://www.annualreviews.org/doi/10.1146/annurev-marine-010419-010844 https://www.researchgate.net/publication/330139107_The_Little_Ice_Age_and_20th-century_deep_Pacific_cooling
