The protestors say on banners and posters that they stand with Gaza not Hamas so this is not a pro-Hamas protest. Both groups have completely different motives. They did not mistake Italian flags for Palestinian flags but are holding up the Welfare party of India’s flag. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welfare_Party_of_India
