Contrary to the current community note, Israel is indeed using white phosphorus in Gaza: https://www.hrw.org/news/2023/10/12/israel-white-phosphorus-used-gaza-lebanon Also using white phosphorus is indeed a war crime, and although loop holes exist to excuse their use, it is still deemed inhumane and overall a war crime.
