Original Note:
In normal times, Israel only provides 1/3 of the drinkable water supply to Gaza. Gaza’s other water sources include desalination plants in the Mediterranean Sea and a subterranean aquifer which have been derailed by overuse and poor management. https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/lack-water-worsens-misery-besieged-gaza-israeli-airstrikes-103985147#:~:text=In%20normal%20times%2C%20the%20coastal,the%20territory's%20water%20authority%20says. https://www.rand.org/pubs/research_reports/RR2515.html#:~:text=The%20main%20source%20of%20Gaza's,water%20and%20wastewater%20treatment%20facilities. https://www.unicef.org/media/91396/file/Increasing-Water-Security-in-Gaza-through-Seawater-Desalination.pdf
