Canada's carbon tax hasn't had any positive effect whatsoever on the emissions. They are pretty stable since 2009, with one significantly drop in 2020, due to Covid lockdown. https://www.canada.ca/fr/environnement-changement-climatique/services/indicateurs-environnementaux/emissions-gaz-effet-serre.html
