Original Note:
Even the most religious Jews today do not prescribe the death penalty for any offenses, as Jewish law states that no court can sentence somebody to death until the Messiah comes and the Temple is rebuilt. Gay marriages are recognized, but not performed, in Israel. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capital_punishment_in_Judaism https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recognition_of_same-sex_unions_in_Israel
