Original Note:
A SCRAM is simply a sudden shutdown of a reactor, manually or automatically initiated. There is no inherent risk with a SCRAM, implying each shutdown is a potential meltdown is pure disinformation. A SCRAM can be triggered by something as simple as a loss of grid power. https://www.nrc.gov/reactors/operating/ops-experience/scrams.html
