The siege of Mariupol concluded on the 20th of May 2022. Between then and the trials happening now this Azovstal defender has been a POW for more than a year and has been mistreated by the russian government who doesn't follow the Geneva Convention https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Mariupol
