Original Note:
Although trial by combat between men & women was a thing, but not to solve marital disputes. They were a fight for life & death so were meant for more serious cases, like murder, rape, arson, etc. Not for divorce or arguments between husband & wife. https://twitter.com/fakehistoryhunt/status/1700926859368628281 https://history.stackexchange.com/questions/64460/how-common-were-marital-duels-in-medieval-europe https://www.jstor.org/stable/23202291 https://publicdomainreview.org/collection/fechtbucher/ https://www.aemma.org/onlineResources/trial_by_combat/combat_man_and_woman.htm https://www.loc.gov/resource/gdcwdl.wdl_08970/?c=160&sp=1&st=gallery https://www.photo.rmn.fr/C.aspx?VP3=SearchResult&VBID=2CO5PCQFH3MF https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Talhoffer
