The author uses children when the study she references, https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/nejmc2201761, clearly refers to "children and adolescents. Furthermore the age range of 1-19, excludes infants and includes adults as defined by the CDC https://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/childdevelopment/positiveparenting/adolescence2.html#:~:text=Adolescence%20(15%2D17%20years%20old)&text=CDC creating a misrepresentation and thus needs added context.
