The key point is that the 8/30/23 Full Moon l’s brightness is due to the moon being a Super Moon, as then the moon is closest to the earth in an elliptical orbit. It’s true 8/30/23 is also a Blue Moon (two full moons in 1 month) which is unrelated to the moon’s brightness https://spaceplace.nasa.gov/full-moons/en/
