Original Note:
Linda Burney claimed on the programme that her slurred speech is a result of a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack) in 2020. Sydney cardiologists who treated Burney have rejected this. A TIA is transient and has no long-term effect on speech, nor does heart surgery. https://www.theaustralian.com.au/commentary/linda-burney-is-sincere-but-not-suitable-to-be-face-of-the-yes-campaign-for-the-indigenous-voice-to-parliament/news-story/2ade43a19792b19fc6e9664fd786e5d8 https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/national/indigenous-australians-minister-linda-burney-reveals-ministroke-and-heart-surgery/news-story/356d195386eaca5488239b1702e47d42 https://www.skynews.com.au/opinion/andrew-bolt/linda-burneys-fitness-to-lead-yes-campaign-called-into-question/video/cf81fff35a287a17ea2d6dbfc828a36d https://www.skynews.com.au/australia-news/labor-mp-linda-burney-reveals-medical-diagnosis-which-left-her-needing-to-use-a-kazoo-before-speaking/news-story/1b2c3e05aa687719668eadfaa7c43cac https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12454619/Linda-Burney-opens-mini-stroke-surgery-hole-heart-ahead-Indigenous-Voice-Parliament-Yes-launch.html https://strokefoundation.org.au/about-stroke/learn/tia
