There’s no evidence that a lack of proficiency in English, when it is a second or third language, has a link to lower intelligence as claimed here. https://blogs.lse.ac.uk/psychologylse/2020/02/14/does-the-language-we-speak-make-us-smarter/ There’s also no evidence that OP can speak a language other than English. Monolingualism is associated with less intelligence.
