Devil's fingers (Clathrus archeri) is bright red and has a different morphology to the mushroom in the image. https://www.wildlifetrusts.org/wildlife-explorer/fungi/devils-fingers-fungus This mushroom is probably an immature anemone stinkhorn, though this is an unusual looking specimen.
