Original Note:
The Moors only ruled a small part of Europe, about 5%. The Moors were mostly from Northern Africa, Berbers, the region we now call Morocco, most of them were and are not exactly "black Africans". Family crests are symbolic, a Moor's head doesn't mean the family was black. https://www.britannica.com/place/Al-Andalus https://www.nationalgeographic.com/history/article/who-were-moors https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moors
