Original Note:

Japanese military song "Yuki no Shingun" was banned in the Imperial Japanese Army during the Second Sino-Japanese War from 1937 to 1945 for its anti-war lyrics, which were strictly against the doctrine of hakkō ichiu (八紘一宇). Hakkō ichiu aimed for the Japanese world domination. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuki_no_Shingun
