The water and moisture content in living trees results in them burning later than dry houses. This is why wood has to be dried after logging before usage as combustible. Hot air starts new fires without direct fire creep. The trees did burn as is shown in the video. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wood_drying
