According to the CDC, 95% of humans are immune the leprosy (Hanson’s Disease) bacteria. Antibiotics can cure leprosy. https://www.cdc.gov/leprosy/index.html https://www.aad.org/public/diseases/a-z/leprosy-risk 7 cases of malaria have been treated and have recovered in Sarasota County.
