There is no aircraft carrier named USS Thomas Hubner https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_aircraft_carriers_of_the_United_States_Navy There is a destroyer named USS Thomas Hudner (note the typo) https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Thomas_Hudner_(DDG-116), but that does not make the claim more trustworthy.
