"Chemtrails" are simply misidentified persistent contrails, which can last in the sky for many hours. https://scool.larc.nasa.gov/pdf/Contrail_ID_Chart_English_2013_v18_copy.pdf Solar geoengineering is a proposed technology that would introduce sulfates into the sky to reflect sunlight. It has never been tested and would not create trails in the sky.
