It is correct, according to the CDC site, that mosquitoes have been spread in Florida and Texas. The mosquitoes are suppose to make offsprings of female mosquitoes that die young, but currently there are no information on the results of this mosquito spread. https://www.cdc.gov/mosquitoes/mosquito-control/community/emerging-methods/genetically-modified-mosquitoes.html
