I doubt that a bottle of colored water and a mentos could produce such an amount of lighter-than-air gas to fill a ballon which could carry probably 0.5kg of weight. Here is a video about filling ballons with cola+mentos. Notice how little gas is actually created. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38a5esJP9ZA
