Stitts commuted Jones’ execution. Jones’ prison sentence is life without parole. https://okcfox.com/news/local/julius-jones-kevin-stitt-oklahoma-execution-clemency The Oklahoma Parole Board recommended Jones’ sentence be commuted to life in prison without parole. The Howell family said “we take comfort that his decision affirmed the guilt of Julius Jones.”
