Extending the current tax rates (ie NOT raising taxes) does not and can not "add" to the defecit. Only continued deficit spending can do that. Federal tax revenues have been flat or increased YoY since the 2017 tax cuts. The tax cuts did not result in lost revenue. https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/americas-finance-guide/government-revenue/
