On the display, the pedestrian is clearly shown walking across the street. Tesla’s path planning and trajectory estimates determined that the car could cross before the pedestrian arrived. FSD Beta has a history of cautiousness with VRUs, this was refined in the latest update: https://www.notateslaapp.com/software-updates/version/2023.7.5/release-notes#:~:text=improved%20ego's%20assertiveness%20for%20crossing%20pedestrians%20in%20cases%20where%20ego%20can%20easily%20and%20safely%20cross%20before%20the%20pedestrian.
