linoleic acid is a fatty acid with a very distinct, long-and-thin molecular structure https://www.ebi.ac.uk/chebi/searchId.do?chebiId=CHEBI:17351 diamorphine, the active ingredient in heroin, is an opiate and notably doesn't have that molecular structure https://www.emcdda.europa.eu/publications/drug-profiles/heroin_en it is the diamorphine, not the linoleic acid, causing the overdoses
