Original Note:
There is no .80 on the dollar. The max federal tax is 33% above 221k, without deductions. They don’t “claw” back ccb, there is no payroll tax which is actually income tax and not a separate tax that even exists at all. And the carbon pricing is mostly refunded. https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/programs/about-canada-revenue-agency-cra/income-statistics-gst-hst-statistics/individual-tax-statistics-tax-bracket/individual-tax-statistics-tax-bracket-2022-edition-2020-tax-year.html https://www.canada.ca/en/department-finance/news/2022/03/climate-action-incentive-payment-amounts-for-2022-23.html#:~:text=Payments%20will%20start%20in%20July,October%202022%20and%20January%202023.
