Original Note:

That seems to be based on this report from Oxfam: https://www.oxfam.org/en/press-releases/ten-richest-men-double-their-fortunes-pandemic-while-incomes-99-percent-humanity However, the report do not claim that billionaires "made more than $1.5 trillion since the beginning of the pandemic". It shows that the world’s 10 richest men more than doubled their fortunes from $700 billion to $1.5 trillion.
