The headline is not misleading. The NY Times is correct to say SpaceX fell short of its "most ambitious goal" because it listed a complete flight as a "best case scenario." Nowhere does the NYT say the test was a failure because SpaceX did not achieve a full flight https://www.spacex.com/launches/mission/?missionId=starship-flight-test
