War of numbers aside, it's clear from FBI's Crime in the U.S. series that white-on-black violence does happen. The latest data available shows 246 murders in 2019 : https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2019/crime-in-the-u.s.-2019/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-6.xls Therefore, it's misleading (and false) to claim that violence "always goes one way".
