Original Note:
The general average sea level has risen significantly in the last century. However, sea levels rise at disproportionate rates throughout the world, and some areas will even see a drop in sea levels. The sea level in NYC is expected to rise 3 ft by 2100. https://sealevel.nasa.gov/faq/9/are-sea-levels-rising-the-same-all-over-the-world-as-if-were-filling-a-giant-bathtub/#:~:text=Sea%20level%20rise%20is%20uneven,%2C%20heating%2C%20evaporation%20and%20precipitation. https://sealevel.nasa.gov/flooding-analysis-tool/sea-level-rise?station-id=8518750&scenario=traj
