Contrary to previous note, the Helix Nebula has been the Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) on several occasions, with this similiar image doing so on 29th Dec 2004. https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap041229.html This picture is also not a digital illustration, but a real NASA image that was re-coloured on deviant art. https://www.eso.org/public/images/eso0907a/
