Meta analysis is not a good way to make a scientific analysis, meta-analysis pulls data from other studies, which each study has different baselines. The resultant paper is no longer a scientific paper its more of a guesstimate. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27209412/ it can be used as a template for a new study.
