Scientists have long known that biological sex characteristics exist on a spectrum, not a binary (https://crl.ucsd.edu/~elman/Courses/HDP1/2000/LectureNotes/fausto-sterling.pdf). Many societies have more than two genders (https://www.pbs.org/independentlens/content/two-spirits_map-html/). The tweet correctly points this out to show that trans girls are girls, because there is no physical requirement for being a girl.
