Bitcoin mining consumes an enormous amount of energy - 150 terawatts annually. https://news.climate.columbia.edu/2022/05/04/cryptocurrency-energy/ Using heat from bitcoin mining to produce food or heat buildings would require additional infrastructure, not just heat dissipating from banks of computers dedicated to nothing but mining bitcoin.
