This claim is false. The CDC data shows that for the week ending Aug. 19, 2023, 1.7% of all deaths in the U.S. have died of COVID. This does not mean that 99% of reported COVID deaths weren't caused by the virus. The claim is a distortion of CDC figures. https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-covid-deaths-99-percent-cdc-data-828332813362 https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2023/09/18/cdc-covid-19-deaths-correctly-represented-in-data-fact-check/70781817007/ https://checkyourfact.com/2023/10/09/fact-check-cdc-faked-covid-deaths/ BIAS: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/slay-news-bias-and-credibility/

Tweet embedding is no longer reliably available, due to the platform's instability (in terms of both technology and policy). If the Tweet still exists, you can view it here: https://twitter.com/foo_bar/status/1863485759379902626

Please note, though, that you may need to have your own Twitter account to access that page. I am currently exploring options for archiving Tweet data in a post-API context.
