‘Gay’ is a common descriptor for a male homosexual e.g. ‘a gay man’. Being homosexual is specifically being same sex attracted. A ‘trans man’, a woman who identifies as male, who is sexually attracted to other men is heterosexual. Therefore a ‘trans man’ cannot be gay. https://www.webmd.com/sex/what-is-homosexuality
