2024-07-28 04:26:11 UTC - NOT_MISLEADING

The President can remove/fire the Chairman of the SEC. The Chairman is appointed by the President from the five commissioners. All that is necessary is for the President to appoint a different Chair, and Gensler becomes just a commissioner. https://www.sec.gov/about/sec-commissioners https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Securities_and_Exchange_Commission#:~:text=The%20president%20also%20designates%20one,the%20independence%20of%20the%20SEC.
