Birdwatch Note

2024-07-22 11:14:29 UTC - MISINFORMED_OR_POTENTIALLY_MISLEADING

The authors make the statistical mistake of attributing all myocarditis after the vaccine, to the vaccine, which is incorrect because other types of myocarditis also exist. This will inflate the amount of vaccine myocarditis, which VAERS users are explicitly warned to not do. https://www.bhf.org.uk/informationsupport/heart-matters-magazine/news/coronavirus-and-your-health/coronavirus-vaccine-your-questions-answered/myocarditis-and-covid-19-vaccines-should-you-be-worried

Tweet embedding is no longer reliably available, due to the platform's instability (in terms of both technology and policy). If the Tweet still exists, you can view it here: https://twitter.com/foo_bar/status/1815066157457498253

Please note, though, that you may need to have your own Twitter account to access that page. I am currently exploring options for archiving Tweet data in a post-API context.
