While the information in the attached image is correct. The OP in this instance, has a misunderstanding of what is happening. Crunchyroll is not the one shutting down Funimation or its digital copies. Sony acquired Crunchyroll, and are the ones who owned Funimation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crunchyroll#Sony_ownership
