This is the Church of St Oswald in Oswestry in the UK. The tower is nearly 1000 yrs old but was rebuilt following the English Civil War. The cables are lightning protection and the "plug" is an Ordnance Survey (OS) Flush Bracket. These were used to create the UK OS maps https://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/blog/benchmark-trig-pillar-whats-name#:~:text=The%20flush%20bracket%20is%20another,flush'%20with%20the%20building https://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm2227 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1054332?section=official-list-entry
