2023-12-14 16:26:45 UTC - NOT_MISLEADING

Others have posted about the Wong Kim Ark case as proof of birthright citizenship being guaranteed for everyone, no matter what their legal status was. This is incorrect. Wong Kim Ark’s parents lived legally in the United States for many years before their son’s 1870 birth. https://openyls.law.yale.edu/bitstream/handle/20.500.13051/7583/3_By_Accident_of_Birth_Frost_YJLH_32_1.pdf?sequence=2&isAllowed=y
