別に政府も隠しているわけではなく、厚労省の人口動態統計を取り毎年簡易生命表を作っています。 https://www.mhlw.go.jp/toukei/list/81-1a.html 国立感染症研究所は上記統計をもとに国際的に承認された人口モデルに従い超過死亡・過小死亡の値を算出し公表しています。さらに新型コロナウィルスの流行によりオープンデータ化され一般向けデータ表示サイト https://exdeaths-japan.org/ をオープンしています。 これら統計は生命保険会社も生命保険の設計で参照する数値であり、政策立案決定においても必ず参照する数値です。これらの数値が信用できないとなると日本では生命保険そのものが売れなくなるくらい重要な基礎統計です。
