This is extremely misleading. The CDC quantifies a “rare” disease as fewer than 200,00 TOTAL in US. 1% of children would be 736,000 with Long Covid. That’s 2.5 times MORE than with diabetes. 43 times MORE than ALL childhood cancers. Long Covid is NOT “rare.” https://diabetesresearch.org/diabetes-statistics/#:~:text=In%202019%2C%20283%2C000%20children%20and,244%2C000%20with%20type%201%20diabetes. https://blogs.cdc.gov/genomics/2016/02/17/rare-diseases/#:~:text=In%20the%20United%20States%2C%20a,and%20about%20400%20million%20worldwide. https://www.cdc.gov/cancer/npcr/pediatric-young-adult-cancer.htm#:~:text=15%2C000%20children%20younger%20than%2020,year%20in%20the%20United%20States.
