The tree in the picture has been debunked as being the tallest tree. The previous note mistakenly says is that Hyperion is not a Sequoia. The Latin name for Coastal Redwoods is Sequoia Sempervirens. Sequoia and Redwood are interchangeable, and not exclusive to the "Giant Sequoia"
