In 2020 the UK Generated 312 TWh of electricity. www.nationalgrid.com/stories/energy-explained/how-much-uks-energy-renewable 124TWh would be ~39.74% of 2020 UK energy generation. If in today's prices this was worth £2 trillion, it would imply that the UK spends more than twice it's £2.2 trillion GDP on energy.
