The Tesla Semi is verified to have a full-load single-charge range of ~500 miles: https://www.nextbigfuture.com/2023/09/pepsi-tesla-semi-proves-80000-lbs-gross-weight-operation-and-longer-range-on-a-charge, enough for a full day. The battery is 900 Kwh (~1 Mwh), so energy used is far less than the claim. The Semi is better on mountain grades encountered by logging trucks and cheaper to operate.
