Original Note:

Female Horn Sharks lay spiral egg cases, which they wedge into crevices (rocks) to keep them safe. Each egg case contains one pup, which takes between six and nine months to hatch. It is recommended to return them to deep water. https://www.montereybayaquarium.org/animals/animals-a-to-z/horn-shark#:~:text=The%20horn%20shark%20feeds%20on,and%20nine%20months%20to%20hatch.
